At Lord of Life Lutheran Church, our mission is to live out God’s Work. Our Hands. through everyday acts of compassion, discipleship, and hospitality. We believe that Jesus Christ is our Savior who saved us from sin and offers us forgiveness and new life by God’s grace alone. We’re a vibrant church family serving Brighton, MI and nearby communities and dedicated to helping individuals grow in faith, serve our community, and experience authentic Christian fellowship.

Serving with Faith, Leadership, and Care
Pastor Kristin Vander Ploeg began serving as Lord of Life’s interim pastor in January 2026. She is a graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy and Luther Seminary, and she has served for over 15 years in congregational ministry and Air Force chaplaincy. Transition has been a big part of Pastor Kristin’s life, having lived and served in eleven states and three countries, and working with several different congregations and military communities before coming to Lord of Life. She is excited to now be in Southeast Michigan, and to journey with Lord of Life during this season of transition.
